International law firm seeks a Business Development Specialist - Proposals & Training candidate for its Marketing & Business Development Department located in New York City. Hours: 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., non-exempt. This opportunity will support the Firm's strategy and execution of firmwide RFP responses, significant client pitches, team processes and other major firmwide and business development initiatives. Under the general supervision and direction of the Business Development Manager - Proposals & Training, the Specialist's primary responsibility is supporting the firmwide response to RFIs/RFPs/significant pitches from inception to final product, but this role also provides the opportunity to participate and have a leading role in a number of interesting and important business development activities including the development of its marketing training curriculum.
Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications, journalism, business or related field
Minimum of two years' experience in professional services marketing. Demonstrated background of accomplishment in marketing and business development. Previous law firm/legal marketing and/or RFP/proposal experience is highly desirable.
