Queens County, New York organization is hiring a Workers’ Compensation Legal Assistant to join its team.
The ideal candidate is a bright and experienced professional with:
• A bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of workers’ compensation Paralegal/Legal Assistant/Claims experience
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The Legal Assistant will:
• Investigate, review and file workers’ compensation claims
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of claims
• Mediate communication between involved parties
• Assist with additional tasks, as needed
Additional information:
• Salary = $70K + benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, 401K & more
• Full-time in office
• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM with occasional overtime as needed
