National law firm is hiring a Legal Assistant to join their Bergen County, New Jersey office.
The ideal candidate will have:
• 3+ years of administrative/secretarial support to a civil litigation practice
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to attorneys including answering phones, calendaring, billing, time entries, expense reports, etc.
• Respond to inquiries from clients and opposing counsel
• Prepare legal documents including pleadings and discovery
• eFile documents with State and Federal Courts
• Assist with additional tasks, as needed
Additional information:
• Salary: $60K – $80K commensurate with experience plus benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, long-term disability, life insurance, PTO, flexible spending account, 401K and more
• Hybrid schedule: 4 days/week in office, 1 day/week remote
• Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
