Established law firm is hiring an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to manage a busy caseload.
The ideal candidate is a motivated, detail-oriented and independent thinker with:
- A Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury experience
- A Notary Public, preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to multitask
- Client relations experience
- New York Electronic Court filing experience
Responsibilities include:
- Managing and maintaining over 300 files from inception to settlement
- Drafting, proofreading and finalizing Summons and Complaints, Bills of Particulars, Requests for Judicial Intervention, Discovery, Subpoenas, Motions, Oppositions, and Replies
- Compiling of medical records and investigative materials
- Communicating with clients regarding case status
- Maintaining appropriate communication with adjusters and insurance carriers
- Preparing settlement packages
Additional Information:
- Salary: $65K - $95K commensurate with experience + benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K with matching contribution, PTO, and more!
